Le Fort Rouge Apartments are located at the foot of the Grand Place in the medieval town of Tournai, a few steps from the Cathedral of Notre Dame (UNESCO World Heritage), the Belfry, the Cloth Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts (designed by Horta).
This brand-new building recently opened its doors and offers you thoughtfully furnished apartments for short rental periods. All units are ideally suited to a comfortable self-catered stay during your business or private trips, and you will also feel at home if you need a place during a time of transition time in your life.
In addition, you will enjoy a free weekly cleaning service.
Le Fort Rouge Apartments are an oasis of peace in the heart of Tournai. We have carefully installed good sound insulation and quality materials so that you can enjoy a calm night’s sleep (we use queen-size beds by Treca, Simmons mattresses, Ligne Roset sofa beds, and Robuusta bunk beds).
Each apartment (50m²) has a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, separate toilet, storage space, one or two bedrooms and a balcony / terrace/ panoramic view. Most apartments have an impressive view over the park and the Fort Rouge.
There is a lift. Each apartment is wheelchair accessible.

Easy access
The building has a lift and is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
You can easily park on the street or on the Grand-Place (for a fee). There is also a Q-Parking 300m from the apartments.

Location
The Fort Rouge Apartments are located in the heart of the city, with its cosy bars and restaurants in the street of small shops. Just opposite your stay there is a bakery and a very good Lebanese restaurant.
Entertainment
Each apartment has a flatscreen television and free internet.
Bedding
Iron, ironing board, hair dryer, bed and bath linen are provided.
Weekly cleaning and replacement of bed and bath linen are included.
Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in time from 3 pm
- Check-out at the latest at 11AM
- There is no reception service at Le Fort Rouge. Please note that you will receive an access code by e-mail in order to enter the residence.
Reservation and cancellation
- Your booking will be confirmed by a bank transfer of the entire amount.
- A damage deposit of 250 € is required. Your deposit will be refunded within 7 days, subject to an inspection of the property.
- In case of cancellation, we will refund 50% of the amount 30 days before the arrival date, and 25 % of the amount between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date.
- No tourist tax is charged.
- If you are interested in a different length of stay than listed, please contact us to determine the price.
